UK Model Exclusivity - the model loses out

I can't understand UK models signing exclusive contracts with British studios. It makes no sense unless the boys get a really huge, huge guarantee.

In the USA, where there is a massive pool of guys, it can work in the model's favour. Here in the UK the model pool is so small, good performers would repeatedly be used by all the studios. Take for example Paddy O'Brian - he has no exclusivity but has worked in the the last few months for at least 4 studios regularly (and another on the way).

It's a sad fact that the boys have a short shelf life and signing an exclusive limits the income they could make in their career.

The company responsible for most of the UK exclusives will use the guys repeatedly whether they're under exclusive contract or not (eg Paddy O'Brian).

If the boys are tempted by exclusives, they need to factor in all the income they could have made from other studios in that period - at least 4 scenes per studio across 4 studios (at least £10,000). Add this to what the "exclusive" studio will be paying (which will pretty much be the same whether they're under exclusive or not).

I can understand studios wanting to protect their investment when grooming straight boys for their first fuck. But not gay boys who will do much the same thing for any studio.

I'm happy to wait until exclusives to end because I'll always make the guys look better than they've ever looked. It's the boys I feel sorry for, ultimately they're going to lose money.
